I was thinking that, as I mentioned in the haul thread(which isn't working well, IMO), but no one would know who we are...

I was posing these little fuckers, and thought "KISS Destroyer"...but, well, I guess I could leave Peter out. he is only a drummer, right?

Shocker Toys announces the first cases of Shockinis hitting stores nationwide.

Ridgewood, NJ - May 29,2004 - The Shockinis - The all new three inch mini action figure sporting 18 points of articulation by Shocker Toys. These feature newly designed bodies allowing more movement then ever, cool new designs and colors. The new Custom Shockinis were shown at Wizard World Philadelphia 2004 with great success. A low price point made these extra attractive to customizers who bought 4 or 5 at a time! Most of them plan to submit their customs to the Shocker toys custom gallery at our website. It's a connection to the public that gave us the drive to put out our first toys and we love seeing what happens to them when our friends get them home! We will always encourage collectors to send in pictures of their Shockini creations and will share them with the world with pride on our website. The all new Shockinis have been geared to the max in their "Custom" version packed with accessories and stickers for a great price. What's next? Hitting larger retail chains very soon will be the "Electrobyte" Shockinis featuring a comic and painted robotic Shockini. These will come in a wide range of styles, based on original art in the Manga style. We guarantee there will be an Electrobyte for every taste.

On May 24th, 2004, the Custom Shockinis along with a few Electrobytes shipped out to more then 25 stores nationwide. FEMALE APE-X
The bossiest of the Ape-X bunch. Funny and Dangerous, Female Ape-X is the one to watch out for. As all the Electrobytes do, Ape-X has an old school Japanese "Big-Bot" feel to her. NEUTRAL APE-X
The most mysterious of the Ape-X bots. Neutral Ape-X is a cold hearted, sleek fighting machine. As all the Electrobytes do, Ape-X has an old school Japanese "Big-Bot" feel to him. Amen, Baimun.

If we can only get an American manufacturer to start putting 'em out so that they don't cost an arm and a leg for imports.

Now, if I was in the toy business, I'd be producing minis like the Microman figures-- more realistically proportioned, but not quite as complicated a construction... as if Stikfas had taken a page from Takara, but simplified the design.

As far as customizing goes, Microman is where it's at, especially if you're doing superhero stuff. I'm very pleased with the progress of my Spider-Man, though I wish I knew about Takara's before I started him.

There's nothing quite like busting your ass on a custom for months and finding out it's gonna be obsolete within weeks after completion.
